entry picture

Apples & Snakes at the Soho theatre on Tuesday 31 May presents Jean ‘Binta’ Breeze, charismatic queen of dub poetry. Sharing the bill is Yorkshire’s Steve Tasane, no stranger to the odd rebel song himself. And watch out for Fatima Al Matar, the Coventry-Kuwaiti phenomenon creating serious waves on the spoken-word scene. Venue: Soho theatre, 21 Dean Street, London W1D 3NE.

Tickets: £8 / £6 / £6 under 26. Booking: 020 7478 0100 / www.sohotheatre.com
