I’m a poet called Trevor

People say I’m very clever

Cos’ I have the time

To write words in rhyme

I’m Trevor from beyond

From England across the pond

I’m not here to be a fool

At Lamesa’s elementary school

I’m here to say to you

You can write poetry too

Long or short, your own thought

How you’re feeling, standing or kneeling
