Trev's USA Tour 2011
The drive from Chattanooga to Ashville in rhyme
21.04.11 – 78) It rained again, another thunderstorm
Yet fresh the morning was still warm
Neath the cloudy sky of grey I began my drive again that day
Down the interstate shifting watching the mist through the trees lifting
An accident meant a detour I didn’t feel the least bit sore
Although caught on the hop there was time for a fuel stop
Where a guy in the know directed me the way to go
He directed me right and to my delight
I broke away from the bunc heading to Ashville in time for lunch
As the scenery did change, towards the Smoky Mountain Range
There’d be delays no doubt as I’d stop to get my camera out
Snapping away without a care, the views of this trip I’d share
Poetry done for now, other aspects and how
Onwards, northwards without fear
