HERITAGE & EXHIBITION WORKER (Full time) until end May 2007
Freelance on self employed basis – up to £21,000 inclusive
Organise all aspects of the exhibition and liase with community, schools, other agencies, individuals and groups. Liase with the exhibition venue. Develop the project, assemble the exhibition, run the exhibition, gather, identify, sort and store materials, file, archive, conserve and provide info and educational resources. Deal with labelling, signage and provide information sheets and explanatory notes. Responsible for marketing, publicity and promotion. Assemble mailing lists and organise the pre-view and Open Day. Produce catalogue. (Based Liverpool City Centre)

AUDIENCE & ACCESS DEVELOPMENT WORKER p/t until end May 2007
Freelance – fee of £9,000
Introduce more people to heritage and provide learning and educational opportunities.
Open up assets to wider audiences and develop a pro-active programme of community interaction and outreach. PR, marketing and publicity work. Produce an audience and access plan. I.T. capability essential. (Based Liverpool City Centre)

CONSERVATION (PAPER WORK) p/t
Repair, conservation and storage work and advice for exhibition project. Allowance of £875 for small amount of freelance work. (Based Liverpool)

ARTS DEVELOPMENT with CREATIVE WRITING WORKER (part time)
Freelance – self employed £6,000 2½ days a week approx (until end Jan 2007) Ability to organise and run creative writing workshops as a tutor and work on magazine. Skills in writing and teaching essential together with an interest in images and photography, to help the gallery project. You must be fully I.T. capable, able to scan, edit on screen and manage the website. PGCE qualified candidate preferred
