Leaving Eden: Ron Zheng's Poetography exhibition

entry picture

A Chinese artist who superimposes poems in the traditional tanka form over black and white images is staging an exhibition in Lewisham, south-east London. Ron Zheng’s Poetography exhibition, Leaving My Found Eden, focuses on the  theme of leaving a place you love; it could be a country, family and friends, a home, or even a favourite coffee house.

A tanka poem has five lines, of five, seven, five, seven and seven syllables. The exhibition runs at  Lewisham Arthouse gallery from 20 July to 7 August, Wednesday to Sunday, 12pm to 6pm.

For further information visit poetography.org or visit the Poetography Facebook page. All proceeds from the sale of art will be donated to local non-profit organisations. Map
