Employment
Leered at by the drunks, the wicked, the perverts and the scum. Watching them trying to perform basic tasks with great difficulty. Forcing a smile with tired eyes. Making compulsory contact with theirs. The technology doesn't help. Waiting for the crossroads I am beginning to realise if I want out I have to rise. Just so weary. It could be worse. I could be unemployed. Sitting on my backside doing nothing for no-one. Even working for just myself, I don't feel the same glory. To proceed in life I have to be selfless. My innocent keeps me nourished instead of the adverse. So I welcome the former. It could always be worse.

the drunks the wicked the perverts and the scum...everywhere, all the time, in hiding and disguise. its a basic task to put a drink down and with great difficulty leave it there...we seek out these sordid places and smile with tired eyes that accept the welcome of a world with no standards.
selflessness wont keep you in a job.
