Watching the river flow: poets wanted for open mic at Wapping

Calling London poets … The Sense of Place community history project at Hermitage Community Moorings in Wapping is looking for poets to join an open-mic evening on 9 September on the theme of river, boats, and/ or memory. Bruce the Eel Fisherman is the confirmed headliner at the event starting at 7pm at the Hermitage Floating Pier House, 16 Wapping High Street, E1W ING. A Sense of Place is a two-year oral history project about the lives of those who live and work on the Thames at Wapping.
