Longing

Brown in some lights

Green in others,

Your eyes

Deliciously hazel

Gaze at me,

Make me feel whole.

Your smile

Melts my heart.

Muscley arms,

Shown to perfection

In sleeveless

Football tops.

I imagine those arms

Around me,

Holding me tight.

Your funny

Sense of humour

Makes me laugh.

So good to be

Your friend.

But just imagine

All that we could be.

Your hasty hugs

And oh, so brief

Goodbye kisses

When we are

Never alone.

And now you

Let me know

You want

More

Too….

Lynn, I have a heavy duty gasket so post your worst!
Seriously, the poem was excellent. I await the next installment.

Hints of unfinished business here with that fulfillment of desire kept potently out of reach. I enjoyed it.

Thank you for your comment, Stef, much appreciated as always. Just one problem really, if you think this is saucy, better not post my latest, or you may blow a gasket!!! Lotsa luv, Lynn xx
