A friend moves to Utah

A friend moves to Utah.

Thinks;

       the work environment

       will be healthier.

       The pay better

               and the family happier.

I wish him luck

yet can’t help but think;

               Utopia is a differing state.

Hey Banksy I had you figured for Asia and far east culture not Utah lol There is more culture in my fridge than in that entire state Haha.

Hi Isobel, I remember your poem about returning from Australia. The grass is always greener isn't always a true saying is it? I mean being somewhere, that not being home...that can greatly re-enforce everything that is good and wanted about 'home'.

Wigan looks like it hits all the right buttons. I tell you what though, I wouldn't be too keen on having a funeral parlour near me Hehe The rest yea :)

My Best

Mmmm - like the thought in this one too. Having lived in the middle of nowhere, I'd hate to repeat the mistake. There's no beating living amongst people in a community. I now live walking distance to a pub, a co-op, cashpoint, chippie, hairdresser, bank, estate agent, school (secondary, primary and college) post office, train station, water park, private tennis courts, chinese, indian, two sisters and a funeral parlour!!! And I just love it - Utopia is where the heart is. x
