TURNING BACK THE CLOCK

I just wish that sometimes we English were left to do things in our own time.  I'd be quite

happy to re-set my watch when crossing the border.r.r.r.r.

....................................................................................................................

Turning back our English clocks

By now should be a crime.

Let backward winders join the Jocks

For "Caledonian Time".

Doing away with our summer time

Is an anti-English plot,

And the guilty party in this rhyme

Is the pious po-faced Scot!

(so there!!)
