Open Mic and the Mechanics, in Cornwall

Following its runaway success last month, the second shift of a regular monthly event will be sinking a new shaft of poetry at Miners and Mechanics’ Institute, St Agnes, Cornwall on Tuesday, 1st November, 8 p.m.. All are welcome to read their verse, a short story or perform a little music. The Poetry Mine organiser and compere is star of radio and Write Out Loud blogs, Ann Foxglove. £2 entry, waived for performers.

Proceeds go to the local lifeboat, in case of any other sinkings
