Simple expositions
Poetry is tested-
no line remains un-touched;
we smile at our fingered collections
of verbs and inflections
and other such other stuff
of all the sorted conjunctions-
all the wrought out phrases-
the throw-away rhymes
and
those simple expositions
that torch our lighted way
through those caverned wordy
mines.

a nice observatory poem on the process. The single word lines are perfect and the sounds of 'simple exposition' and 'caverned wordy' are really interesting. nice one.
