CRYSTAL SHIP
CRYSTAL SHIP
Through my illuminated gunsight the small ship glistens silver in the sunlight,
it grows larger every second, my plane shaking with the recoil of my 30mm cannons.
My shells fly through the air like angry fireflies and the crystal ship disappears in a world of spray and fire, cutting across the sea and into the ship.
Mortal damage is done and it stops dead in the water, on fire and listing it starts to sink.
I come round again to end it all for I am the avenging God of War in my Devil’s chariot.
