Flarestack Competition

entry picture

In autumn 2009, Flarestack Publishing is launching its new imprint, Flarestack Poets, under the direction of Meredith Andrea and Jacqui Rowe (both Flarestack Poets).  They're looking for poetry that dares outside current trends, even against the grain... collections that aren't bus queues, from poets who are forging their own linguistic connections with the root-ball of experience. Flarestack pamphlets have a reputation for quality and diversity, and for encouraging work from new and established voices.  The first pamphlets from the new imprint will be selected through Flarestack Poets' Pamphlet Competition 2009.

2 FIRST PRIZES OF £250 + PUBLICATION BY FLARESTACK POETS - WINNERS WILL RECEIVE 20 COPIES OF THEIR PAMPHLETS

A SELECTION OF THE BEST INDIVIDUAL POEMS WILL BE PUBLISHED IN AN ANTHOLOGY.  ALL FEATURED POETS WILL RECEIVE A COPY

Judges - Meredith Andrea and Jacqui Rowe

Entry Fee - £18 per collection

Further copies of the winning pamplets and competition anthology will be available to purchase from Flarestack Poets, PO Box 14479, Birmingham B13 3GU
