We All Could Be Planets

                                  We All Could Be Planets

     We all could be planets,

We all could be planets with trees and fields,

Streams and brooks,

Oceans and deserts,

Seas and jungle

With mountains so people,

Can walk with their passion for life

Upon the bluest of skies.

We could all be a planet,

Filled to the highest with nothing but love,

Sharing and giving

And taking from soil

Only the little we need

With no thoughts of greed,

No thoughts of battle where people die

     Before death.

     We all could be planets,

Rotating on axis and orbits that greet

Fellow stars,

We all could be planets

Harvesting the Sun and the rain,

Sleeping in peace upon the

Rise of the moon,

Dreaming in fantasy

A world full of charm.

     We could all be a planet;

Fighting and killing,

Exposing our children to nothing

But violence just to belittle forgiveness,

We could all be a planet

Where the size of your purse

And colour of skin

Dictates without heart whether

You starve or you live.

     We ‘All’ could be planets,

We all could be planets neighbouring Earth,

Are you now the next victim,

Or a healer with compassion, that

Tends to the hurt??
