Luggage-label poetry in the park at Hebden Bridge

entry picture

From air raids to autism, curry to contemporary art, luggage-label poetry is springing up, attached to natural and man-made objects in Hebden Bridge’s Calder Holmes Park from 26-29 May. The poet behind Brand New With Tags? Hebden Bridge’s own Winston Plowes, of course. It’s run in conjunction with Fair 4 Youth Event and the Park Life Cafe. Winston said: “Have a stroll around the park and discover the poetry (each tag is marked by a white balloon). Or bring your words and create your own poetry tag to tie to the poetry parcel in the cafe.” More details

Hi all, Thanks for all the comments from people who viewed the tags in the park this glorious weekend. I am setting up a virtual tour of the installation (Comming soon on my web site) so if you missed it and want to be on the mailing list to find out more then please let me know at winstonplowes@googlemail.com

Many thanks, Winston
