It was a great event. Yours was a strong poem well performed. Congratulations. (I was chuffed to come hot on your heals in 3rd place lol)
This was at the Anthony Walker Festival in Liverpool. A poetry slam, my first time ever at anything like this. I came second in the competition, with my poem MUD. It was a fantastic experience, although nerve wrecking, but i did it with great support from my family and friends.

Yes please post - would be nice to see :) Don't know about the confidence & energy! I arrived bit late, flustered & hot & bothered. Registered then left to park the car (miles away) so missed the first half a dozen entrants! I actually thought it was over 2 or 3 rounds so was taken aback when they announced the winners he he!
