That Girl
She’s a kind of a paradox, that girl
Its not that I even like her at all
I just love her, that’s all
She’s a strange one, that girl
I mean, I’m not sure if she even likes me at all
I just love her, that’s all
She’s a young one, that girl
Much younger than me and tall
And I don’t even like girls that tall
I just love her, that’s all
She’s an odd one, that girl
She likes me to flirt and then she smiles her smile
And we’re connected, eye to eye
And all the while
I just love her, that’s all
She’s a crazy one that girl
She makes me laugh with her eyes
And I like the way her hand goes through her hair
And I’m drawn to her where
The curve of her back goes way down to her legs
And it’s no kind of choice
-In fact, no choice at all-
I just love her, that’s all
She’s a dark one that girl
And in her darkness
Her deep piercing darkness she has power over me
And she’s in me and around me
And she’s Black haired and brown eyed and that’s not usually my type
But now -I seem to think that her type,
That’s my type
The type I love, that’s all.
