Two on the verge ... Sue Farmer and Ann Foxglove
Two Women on the Verge…, a brand-new two-hander written and performed by Sue Farmer and WOL’s very own Ann Foxglove, will be performed next week for the first time during the St Ives arts and literature festival in Cornwall.
Sue hosts the Redruth Radio show Do The Write Thing where Ann has been a guest on several occasions. Ann said: “Sue has been a performer since forever, she’s an actress, she has an amazing voice and plays the ukulele. We both write our own material. The show will be a light-hearted mix of songs, poems and stories. The venue is a lovely café in St Ives called Cafe Art.”
The show starts at 5pm on Tuesday 11 September. Cafe Art is located at the Drill Hall, Chapel Street. Ann added: “It’s a free event but we’d like to make the cafe owners very happy so hopefully the audience will eat lots of cake and drink lots of coffee.” If you can, pop along and see just what it is that these two women are on the verge of … More details of other festival events
