Following a substantial rise in racist attacks in Belfast a group of Belfast poets have put out an international call for anti-racist events to be held in mid-April under the banner 'Love Poetry,Hate Racism' and, given the short time scale, the response has been impressive with events organised across the world including, amongst other places: Belfast, Bolton (yes that's us  - Write Out Loud - see gig guide on this site for Sunday 15th April), Dublin, London, Glasgow, Gloucester, Hebdon Bridge, Manchester, Newcastle, Vienna, Seoul, Sydney and New York.
