Past Midnight
-
in a wood in the dark
by the pass not a sound
but the cars and the shift
of the leaves at my feet.
and I write in the dark
and I walk in the dark
and I piss in the dark,
and I stand in the rise of my steam.

Laura- I'm glad it suggests something. ;)
Mmm I like this too, has a lovely rhythm to it, and manages to evoke the scene in very few lines.
