The Echoes poetry competition to celebrate Write Out Loud's 20th anniversary is now open.  Judged by Neil Astley.

Cat Competition Voting

The Cat Competition deadline was extended to the 9th and there are now 6 entries. In the past people have said it's difficult to look through over 20 poems. No excuses now – 6 is easy!

If you would like to vote, this is how it works

  1. There are two votes per WOL member numbered 1 and 2, for your first and second choice. Don't vote for yourself. Votes to be emailed by end of play Feb 14th to me at davebradley80@hotmail.co.uk Alternatively, WOL messaging to me is fine.

  2. In case of a tie for first or second place on first choices, second choices will be taken into account. I won't enter or vote but will use a casting vote if even AV delivers a tie. There will only be one winner and only one second placed poem. The winner can nominate a charity to receive a £10 donation. Second placed poet can nominate a charity to receive a £5 donation

If there is a good response the winner may like to suggest a theme for a further competition, though should feel under no pressure to come up with another prize.
