Have you ever woke-up one day, and examined in detail a word you have used over and over again? It’s like, you have said it all your life, but you have never looked up the definition before. It could be a well-known phrase that you have repeated to yourself and others, then one day you try to locate its meaning, and you find the word or words a little strange, so you look it up. Then you smile to yourself that you did all along have a good interpretation of its meaning. It’s like having a knowingness of something before you have fully understood what you are saying. Some years back, I had the very same awakening. Only, it wasn’t in any particular word or saying, it was the full extent of this world in which we live. Recently, there have been radio shows and articles detailing that ‘schizophrenics’ see all of this as wrong. I am schizophrenic, but let me tell you how it is with me, let me tell you of the awakening I had some time ago, then maybe you will get a better idea of who I am, and whom many schizophrenics may be. But before I detail so much wrong with the world, wrong in your interpretation of the knowingness without realizing the definition, let’s take a look at a word, a word closely associated with schizophrenics, that word being ‘madness.’ Here, I will not reach for the Oxford Dictionary and teach you all to suck eggs, no, I will examine what this word sounds like, feels like and the general consensus of opinion as to its meaning. ‘Mad…………..ness! Madness, mu a duh, ness, madness! For many, it is closely associated with those who detract from society in all their varying forms. For others, it may mean events or happenings which are not willing to be accepted by society at large. It is a strange word though, when you come to fully understand all it involves. And here is a hint, it is a word that folds back in on itself as you will gather from my explanation. But here, I have to highlight to you the fact that not all is as it seems with our world. Many, will say, “So tell us something new” without realizing where that saying stems from. I could tell you about that saying too, and how many take it for granted just like the word madness. But I think by now you may be following my train of thought. First of all, are you awake? Have you found the word Madness strange sounding and slightly unfamiliar? If you have, then you are waking up!

     We are human beings one and all. But we live in a very delicate and strange world. There are some of you, that are appalled at what goes on in this world. But you find coping mechanisms that try not to see you affected by all that goes on. For some, they have their humour to see them through, for others, they find a crutch in alcohol or drugs. Some (quite rightly so) rebel against the world in various ways and guises, but all in all, we are all affected one way or another by this world. Some would just plainly say living in this world is Madness, yet, they are not awake. They have a knowingness without ever exploring the full implications of this world. We all walk the same world, we all share this experience with those that want sex with children. We all walk the same lands as others whom have killed other human beings (illegally and legally). We all witness great disparity between those that can afford to eat, and those that go hungry. We are on a world where murder is rife, murder because of gender, murder because of money. Right now, there is murder on a global scale that we are all taking for granted through the indoctrination that ‘war’ is acceptable. Right now, there are people bending over backwards and forwards praying to God in lands where thousands have been slain through natural causes. People are being mutilated either through war, or famine, or disasters. Yet, here we are while in the here and now, stating that all of this is Madness, without realizing the full implications of how it is affecting our psychology and heart, our minds and souls! Now, it is here I question the motives of Gods/architects/saints etc. For I have come to realize, that if we are all exposed to these atrocities, we will in effect take these memories, tortured memories to the afterlife, if we are given to explanations of life after death. Life after death we seem so keen to believe in. And there, there are many beliefs we are fighting over, when it all amounts to the same thing??? Does the word Madness still sound the colloquialism of the ignorant, or, are you awake yet? I said earlier, that the meaning of schizophrenia can fold back in on itself. I said earlier, that there have been radio shows and articles detailing that schizophrenics see all of this as Wrong! If you are awake, you will now understand why it folds back in on itself. Schizophrenics endure a very brutal condition. The symptoms of the condition are wide ranging but rest assured, it is torture for many. But the main torture, the main reason why many schizophrenics find this world appalling and tortuous, is because they have a very real capacity to fully understand the implications of all that goes on in this world. And there, I am fighting back the tears in trying to allay to you all that this world is absolute torture for the most, but most have not woken to this very undeserved way of living. We are each, for many years unaware of the full implication of what this world is doing to ourselves. We are each in a state of slumber regarding the atrocities we hear of but let pass as commonplace. We say its madness! Schizophrenics, are closely associated with madness. But there, the madness is the human condition we are placed in as it currently stands. Most people, would reach a state of schizophrenia, if they were fully awakened to all they are exposed to. People, label those who react strangely to the world as Mad. But in essence, those who react to a world full of madness are those whom have awoken to the full implications of this world! The World, has degenerated to a very great degree, a degree that we hoped we had seen the back of during the nineteen-forties. The schizophrenic, has reacted strangely to a world full of madness, and the audacity of it, the audacity of it all is for those who are keen to generate suspicion of the schizophrenic, to label them as Mad. I did say it folds back in on itself! That is because, the true madness, is for the carnage to become commonplace and acceptable, where nobody is really awake to the atrocities we carry out on one another. In essence, madness, is the deterioration of a human being, who has been exposed, to a world full of madness. Most will slumber in the forest of life, each declaring their tree be a superior tree. My guess is, many, will never see the wood for the trees, and there, there is license to carry on the carnage that is sending more and more people, insane, and there, there is little hope for the world in which we live.
