swimming underwater

I caught a moment
when I could hear every sound

at that moment
the world seemed to make sense
like a teacher
had sketched a diagram
on how to feel the world
with your eyes closed

upon eyelid open
the image as clear
as the sound
ripples
a comfort
on the tiled ground of the pool
the water surrounded

soothing
and necessary

perhaps I should
curl
like the calm moments
of a wombs world
yet strength asked I push forward
into the dapples ahead
as though my purpose
was to seek out
rather than recluse
I felt cured
and recalled the words that said
to occupy myself living
to fix thought on growth
to be honest on the oath of who I am
despite the ones
that distract
wasting effort
trying to derail
for the light she sends,
like always,
prevails.

I surface refreshed
hoping the moment will endure
I look out for the storms

take her warmth with me.

J'aime beaucoup ce poème... surtout ces lignes:

'yet strength asked I push forward
into the dapples ahead
as though my purpose
was to seek out
rather than recluse
I felt cured
and recalled the words that said
to occupy myself living
to fix thought on growth
to be honest on the oath of who I am
despite the ones
that distract
wasting effort
trying to derail
for the light she sends,
like always,
prevails.

I surface refreshed
hoping the moment will endure
I look out for the storms

take her warmth with me.'

Très inspirant...

Hello Pete, your an inspiration. I wonder how long you been writing to reach this standard. I read it a couple of times and each time i found something new to ponder on. Yup! Fine wordage blue.
