This is a competition for young people aged between 11 to 18.

You are asked to write a short piece of fiction inspired by 10 very different images. 

It could be a poem, a short story, a rap, song lyrics, a dialogue or monologue, a character's thoughts or a description. Anything goes. We are looking for interesting use of imagination, originality and a good flow to the writing. Something that starts, progresses and ends well. It can be comical, creepy, dark, sad, hopefully, curious, cliff-hanging, exciting, weird and so on. Go on give it a go!

Entries will be judges in the following age categories: 11-13, 14-16 and 17-18 - for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.  Prizes will include a Writers' Starter Kit, WHS vouchers, cinema tickets, and an overall prize of a Canon Digital camera!  All entries will be showcased on Cubeweb and 1st prize winners in each category will have their work printed in Cube Magazine.
