The Kiss

~~You left and the memory lingered
I swooned behind the front door
Unable to stand so I sat
Remembering the kiss from before

In the fruit aisle at Tesco I stumbled
Unable to recall what I went for
Whilst admiring red berries and fruits
Remembering the kiss from before

I wondered if shoppers would notice
My feet were not touching the floor
But hovered two inches above
Remembering the kiss from before

Did they snigger as I shopped in my slippers?
Or laugh as I walked into doors?
Did they question my gravity defiance?
Remembering the kiss from before

Imagine my delight once home
When you knocked and I opened the door
To find you hovering slightly
Remembering the kiss from before
