The coldest Morning

In the coldest morning

Of a frozen day

There’s a teeny tiny kernel of heat

Deep inside your heart.

Keep it safe,

You might need it

Some day

In the coldest morning

Of a dead relationship

Reach inside

For that tiny kernel of heat.

You’ll need it

For that someone else

You’ll meet.

Not the very bestest Beatle song Solar, but I do much prefer their older stuff!

reminds me so much of the lyrics in an old Beatles song *Hannah*

#you give back the ring to me
and I will set you free to go with him*

I adore that song and love this poem.x
