All too late
Two lovers with different dreams collide. Smashing both dreams into thousands of little pieces.
The two lovers grow distant as they scrabble around trying to piece their dreams back together.
In time they resent each other for the destruction, not realising that they could create new dreams together.
By which time it was all too late.

This deserves more appreciative comments. The theme is excellent, and well presented. I wonder if the long lines are a deterrent, looking perhaps 'too prosy'. There are many areas where a break/turn could be used to great effect. But that's just window-dressing; the poetry is really there, and line breaks are very subjective.
