Came a September
One was born into true love and true freedom
By wooded embracement
Bringing about ignorant respect, love, and curiosity
When questions remained buried
Insecurities and second thoughts to the wind
Never needing more, afraid to start over again
Distant to some, but not nearly far enough away
Seeming to hold on forever
One season at a time
Reeling over the summer serenity
Felt the heat of Earth’s seriousness
One time not being enough
Leaving everything up to fate
Started searching for answers
Omitting myself by my own faith
Maintaining my true love and humble atmosphere
Another chance to travel
Versions of myself hidden away
One hardly there, a second constantly aching for more
Never again will it be this easy
