Life = Earth
Life = Earth
The undertow slithers, equilibrium pulses loss of structure
A breath, a sound, seems ages away from a violent center
The grasp I try to hold, the aging happening to my control
Is always too much to bear?
Knowing I’m the one coming clean
Saying what it takes to be there
While dying holding on to our dreams
The continuous lapse of lost time
Always returns when you don’t expect it
To play to their ears already
When they don’t even protect us
A flashing rain of poison
Floods of evolving mistakes
An attention span ruined
By an underwater earthquake
Chemical beaches harbor
Washed up dreams of nothing
Breathing only becomes harder
The more we scream while running
Taken by arms in the wind
Illusions spattered like rain
The means to create a heaven
Only leads us to more pain
Break down walls to uncomplicate
Breed answers as I spill
The urge to procreate
Leaves me ready to kill
A solemn, sacred world
Divided by those that hate
Frozen, the life of love
Dripping slowly the tears of fate
A precious, powerful Earth
The greatest challenge for any soul
Conquer the path from birth
Without losing all control
