Through Seasons
Through Seasons
Through seasons we watch the Earth change
Past time and home on the open range
Four forces create a cycle of one
One order, no known start, they just come
Two opposites, two quite alike
Blending turmoil from day into night
Summer’s heat harvests heavenly Earth
Autumn’s fall follows fire into dirt
Winter’s darkness dampens desolate silence
Spring’s emotion evokes eternal conscience
The sun over days of warmth and glee
The leaves so colorful lie decoratively
The snow so white blankets trees and land alike
The love of life persuades for new life
Our hearts find tradition through seasons
Holidays, memories, and faith are just some of the reasons
Our minds discover time and nature through seasons
Learning the cycle of the land gave us a reason
You can feel the wind carrying the spirit of the season
I am a child of my Mother Earth
Forever a love and respect for Her
For when I am ninety
And I close my eyes to feel Her soul
Euphoria explodes inside me
A gift of life for every person, half or whole
