Town
See, we don't have much, doing our best just to stay in touch. Mobile communication is out of range, so how the fuck do we stay unestranged?
Walking the street I'll see a familar face, they'll take me back to their place, and yeah we'll have a drink or two, make a plan and see what we can do.
'Cause the big city's right on our front porch, we're some kind of movement and we carry a torch, and all those outside they can't see our flame, but we burn bright together all the same.
So here's to all the fucked up things we do, some stories I could tell but they wouldn't sound true, but the memories are always lodged in our heads, and I hope they stay there 'til we're dead.
And I hold onto memories like they're jewellry, so many good times and tomfoolery, and you might look at us and take the piss, but let me tell you something...
You will never know a love like this.
