Afraid
Wax paper over your mind
Hear me, Hear me, Hear me
Stabbing your brain
Understand
You called me mother and you fled from home
Crying rivers to slowly dislodge you from your refuge
reminiscing about translucent thinking
Afterword guilt
If I hate myself enough, maybe you'll come back
Don't put me down
I was afraid of being wrong
because you were always right in your ignorance
Staying comfortable makes me uncomfortable
and I've gone so long, keeping locked too often how I'm perceiving this
Love doesn't grow here
Only chaotic upheaval that's been pumping inside
Self-hatred being flattered by jealousy
You're so wondrous
I bet your blood flows like poetry

'Crying rivers to slowly dislodge you from your refuge
reminiscing about translucent thinking...'
Great lines... you can read the inner fear which can only compliment the title.
'Self-hatred being flattered by jealousy
You're so wondrous
I bet your blood flows like poetry'
Mixed messages here but great descriptive words. (...and thanks for your note):)
