Liz Berry and Michael Symmons Roberts will be judging this year’s Foyle Young Poets of the Year award which looks for 15 top winners and 85 commended poets aged 11-17 from all over the world.

This year’s winners will be announced in London on National Poetry Day, 8 October 2015. The top 15 winning poems are published in the yearly winners’ anthology, and the  top 15 winners are also invited to attend a week’s residential creative writing course at an Arvon centre or receive a poet residency in their school (age dependent). Last year’s competition had a record entry of 7,603 young poets from 78 countries. The award was founded by the Poetry Society in 1998. The closing date is 31 July. Entry details
