The novelist and dramatist AL Kennedy will chair this year’s all-female panel of judges for the 2015 Forward prizes for best collection, best first collection, and best single poem. Also on the panel are poets Colette Bryce and Carrie Etter, BBC radio drama and features producer Emma Harding, and London’s first young poet laureate, Warsan Shire. Poems from their shortlists, plus works they commend, will be published as the Forward Book of Poetry this autumn, on the eve of the prize giving ceremony on 28 September at the Royal Festival Hall, Southbank Centre in London.
