She loved that cardigan, really took to it

good quality it was. Had it from new she did

think it was made for her probably.

Not a strong colour but useful

warm and cosy especially when it was warm

outside especially. Never saw her without it

I expect she wore it to bed possibly

Her policy it was never to be cold,

now the story is told.

Oh one other thing I nearly forgot

when she died we got rid of the lot

except

that lovely cardigan went up in flames

we didn't have the heart to separate them.

 

A lovely funeral it was.
