Feeling loved

The girl was happy to get attention

Any attention

Uncle Jim was kind to her

He brought sweets and ribbons for her hair.

She sat on his knee

And felt safe and content.

He liked her

He bathed her

Wrapped her up in a big warm towel.

He stroked her gently

Between her legs

Under the towel.

She liked it

It was a pleasant feeling

She got from no one else.

He kissed her cheek

And hugged her

No one else did.

She was six years old

And he made her feel loved.
