A collection of poems about the cinemas of Leeds, from Woodhouse to Burley, from Armley to Beeston – some abandoned, some converted and some still proudly operational – will be launched at Leeds International Film Festival on Tuesday 10 November. Matthew Hedley Stoppard, left, and James Nash will be reading from Cinema Stories (Valley Press) at Leeds town hall from 7pm. There will also be clips from film significant to the book.
