Making a blog and what a good site this is
Hi folks,
Just wanted to say a big thanks for all the views so far. I am currently trying to make a blog / web site type thing using blogger, but some of the features elude me, so complicated.
I would really like to set something up to showcase the poems (old and new), short stories, scripts and music I have produced over the years, as now at 45, I've long past he idea of trying make money with the arts in a world now saturated with bedroom pop stars and writers. It was ineveitable this would happen as the internet developed etc and as production comps / record comps / publishers all got greedy and started releasing tripe like 50 shades of grey and other pulp that they want the sheeple to buy out there. I just want my stuff on display for all to read and enjoy, so sites like this are a great start. It seems a waste gift - creativty, if it cannot be showcased for all. No point in hiding it all away until you're laid out in your deathbox like a pharoah, with all your wordly poems, stories and songs never read or heard.
Does anyone know of a cool free web site thing which would allow you yo not only display work, but order it under collection and albums etc?
Cheers
Keep on, keeping on
David.
