Got a show ready to tour by February?
PANDA Rural Touring Mentoring Scheme
In partnership with Cheshire Rural Touring Network
Deadline: Monday 3rd December 2007
To apply you must have a show available which will be ready to showcase extracts at the Cheshire Rural Touring Network's annual Promoters Day in February 2008
The Scheme
PANDA are offering mentorship to a PANDA member keen to develop their work for rural touring.
The successful 'mentee' company will receive an understanding of the
issues and contexts in which rural touring operates; including advice
on marketing, pricing, administration, contracting, press and
publicity, licensing, designing for small community spaces, technical
considerations, artistic content and liasing with promoters.
You will visit other rural touring shows in Spring 2008 and will be invited to attend the National Rural Touring Conference in June. The Scheme will culminate in your show being included on the Cheshire Autumn Menu for Rural Touring.
Your expenses will be covered.
This is an excellent scheme and valuable entry-point for any company wishing to establish themselves on the rural touring network.
Who Should Apply?
Any PANDA member with a production that can be ready to showcase extracts in February 2008 should consider applying for this scheme.
