Loving the girl from the moon

I think that I was born on the moon.

But it was never ‘written in the stars’,

No,

I think that when I landed here on earth,

My voice was left behind

Because you can’t hear me.

When I talk,

You can’t hear me,

You look up to God for answers...

And you kiss me like your investigating the saliva for my heritage,

You go inside me like your searching for my identity,

Because the girl you met here is gone.

She looks the same

But she is gone.

And sometimes I think you’re trying to pump the love back into me

With your lips,

Squeeze the disconnection out of me

With your hugs,

But I always feel cold.

I think aliens might be reptiles.

These are the key lines for me

..............And you kiss me like your investigating the saliva for my heritage,
You go inside me like your searching for my identity..........

Curiously intimate but almost instantly dismissive.

Reptiles?

I do wish you'd post more often
