Adoption

Chasing of my dream to the end of the land
To reunite with her, the woman that gave life
To my seventeen years of living without strife
Knowing her adventures, her pursuit of demand

Was she a band groupie, following in their trails
To hear their loud concerts and to flash blowing lips
Or a young innocent that was taken with grips
An act so immoral that detoured her life's rails

Going through these records to trace back history
Seeing a name attached to my certificate
Now comes the search for time, balance is delicate

Getting information, no longer mystery
Getting to speak on phone and learning her story
To our first meet as friends, our resemblance glory
