Woman in the bar

She was sitting alone, on a stool at the bar
Approaching her with fear, I turned around quickly
Went back to my buddies as man looking sickly
Now is with this beauty, discussing her hand's scar

I can see her smiling and laughing to his jokes
As he snuggles closely to smell her soft fragrance
Another chance I lost, deliver my patience
But the tides change quickly, and she's now out of folks

She gets up from her seat, and walks over to me
Hands me a written note, and heads to the dance floor
I read it carefully, and says you should not snore

Waking up from my dream, I realize I see
The woman in the bar is lying in my bed
My girlfriend of a year, her gorgeous sleeping head.
