kiss (08/24/2016)
a small alarm of spark or touch,
radiant from the point of contact out.
a deepening stare, a plunge into forever
the floor falls
away
away
away
a mutual tunnel vision
fractionating a million times
in the gaze of one another
a kaleidoscopic feeling
beneath the drip, the drag, the pooling smoke
of a thrill, peaking: a crescendo, accelerating
a spark passed back and forth,
drawn closer and closer together
until it exists as one constant source
of heat and light and
sometimes I forget to breathe, so
I breathe in gasps and quiet moans
and gentle
hungry sounds.
