Forest survival
Wishing upon the stars that my kids are all safe
Lost in the tall forest with a broken ankle
Surviving elements amidst my own rankle
Going hungry for days and a terrible chafe
Hardly walking past pain, and gathering some fruits
Subsiding my hunger and giving me the strength
To hold onto my life amidst my missing length
For seeing my young stars is driving my disputes
The deafening silence to a light fluttering
Lighting a bright fire to catch the flying sight
Waving my arms in hope that this will be last night
Hearing their words again through my heart's stuttering
The light of my blue eyes, the reason to survive
My hazardous story of seeing smiling drive
