The stalker
There is a knock on door way past the kids bedtime
An exhausted woman frantically screaming
A wobbling hooded man with angry words streaming
Having a split second, open door just in time
She comes in with great puff, while he's banging away
Telling this sad story, that she was out running
When her ex-boyfriend jumped and thought he was cunning
Knowing her jogging route in the night's dark display
Calling the cops over and forcing his reveal
That he was stalking her, since their romance break-up
Wanting to hold again and possibly make-up
The police frisked him all, and a knife was conceal
She was in grave danger but she was in great luck
That opening a door saved her from this bad schmuck.
