The hump
The young boy kept trying, the top was out of reach
He wanted to see view and valley surroundings
But never could achieve the final foot findings
To get over the hump and stretch to outreach
He went about daily, with the same route taken
Always hitting roadblock and getting frustrated
Innocently trying as dream became hated
Falling off from reaching, heading back down shaken
Bringing tools to help out, but yet nothing with strength
Either breaking in hand or crashing under weight
That night he went to bed and dreamnt of alternate
The next day he went again with the idea of length
Grabbing his closest friend, they went out together
And got to see this view, and tremendous splendor
