Delivering

Forgetting your own words when in front of public
That you stutter through speech that you thought was prepared
And looking like a fool, maybe slightly impaired
Chasing away your dream of forming republic

Being conquered through fear of humiliation
Yet having the knowledge that the ideas were formed
But expressed so poorly that the crowd did not warmed
Wasn't captured in heart by lack of citation

In a couple of years, retrain your mind to seek
Learn the art of language and the deliverance
As the words only mean, by ears of reference

Go now and check the past, as the future will speak
Deliver on promise to never disappoint
Your bright mind can leas us, but deliver checkpoint

Life lesson
