Finding Your Partner
The engagement dinner happened one evening
With a large group of friends tossed in with family
To the delight of crowd with the palms clammily
Extending the thank yous for the photo screening
The excited coupling reach out for some advice
And they start discussing with an older couple
Listening with deft ears of immersion double
And the compromising between madness and nice
They laugh and share the smiles as the passion remain
After the fifty years of spinning their good tales
But still expressing sins of moments of frail fails
At the end of the night, the couples ascertain
That life is mystery, that around a corner
You might actually find your long-living mourner
