Weekend Alone

an empty morning

your pillow
how you left it
curled under
on the edge

i remind myself
to think of you
in the new silence

the cat watching
with the small
movements
of a ghost

this is fantastic!!! i love it, love it. the detail of the pillow is key, its the little things you notice the most. and the last verse, that moves the whole piece so perfectly. i am a big fan of this. its also structured perfectly.
